Ok, this post is WAY overdue, especially because Christine had her baby a while ago! I still had to post a few of the pictures, though. I was looking through them the other day while perusing my computer for old photos and I came across these. Amy did such a wonderful job with the decorations and the effort she put into the games was epic! I really enjoyed it, and I know Christine was honored!
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who thinks my daughter is so cute! I get compliments every day on what a beautiful little girl she is, and how awesome it is that she’s so “smiley”. haha. I’ll never tire of it.
The photos above and below are two of my favorites. Marlowe had just woken up for the day, messy hair and all, and I had to laugh at her arm: she’d wiggled it out of her PJs at some point during the night, and she was so proud of it! So wouldn’t stop smiling and grinning!
The photo below is also one that makes me laugh just looking at it! I love our funny little girl! She’d fallen asleep with her head resting on her cereal puffs, and when she lifted her head up, I had my camera all ready!
Lastly, the photo below is yet another testimony to how ridiculously happy and smiley our Marlowe is. She’s such a joy!
Leaving North Carolina was hard for one reason: The friendships and family we left behind. We loved our church, too. And since we’re still looking for a good church here in Colorado Springs (suggestions are really appreciated!!!), Shawn and I miss it even more so.
The photos above and below were taken at a BBQ on the last day the four families were together before we split up and went our separate ways. I’m not a crier, but it was hard not to tear up when we said our goodbyes. I’ll miss these guys a lot. (Except for [Mike and Christine], because they moved a few doors down here in Colorado Springs!)
